Art of Piano offers private traditional piano lessons to beginning, intermediate and advanced students in Manhattan Beach and the Palos Verdes Peninsula. Traditional piano instruction emphasizes note reading, essential music theory, articulation and fingering, and development of tone, technique and phrasing. A music education rooted in the European classical tradition is a firm foundation for learning all genres of music, as well as expanding you or your child's creativity and imagination. 

Noted classical pianist and music educator Robin Alciatore teaches a traditional classical piano curriculum for children and adult students interested in formal piano lessons. Motivated students are encouraged to prepare for and participate in the Carnegie Hall Royal Conservatory Achievement Program. Early childhood music teacher Pam Perry offers the Piano Prep School program to help younger children and beginners learn keyboard fundamentals, rhythm, and note reading in preparation for more formal piano instruction.

The Carnegie Hall Royal Conservatory Achievement Program™ provides a recognized national standard of musical success through an effectively sequenced course of study from beginner to advanced levels. The Achievement Program inspires excellence through individual student assessments and allows students to celebrate accomplishment and track their progress with others across the country. Robin is an active participant in the program, assisting her students with preparation of their repertoire, technical and music theory requirements.  The Art of Piano studio in Palos Verdes Estates has been selected as an Achievement Program Assessment Center for the Beach Cities (Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach) and the Palos Verdes Peninsula.
